What is a gemstone certificate?—Gemstone certificates identify and grade a stone and include a plot of the stones natural characteristics, but there is no monetary valuation given. A certificate never expires. Our diamond certificates include a cut/proportion grade, which many labs do not include. Our colored gemstone certificates identify the stone and grade the color, clarity, and cut. (See the sample certificate below.) AIGR is JBT (Jewelers Board of Trade) listed.
